This is my first time posting so I apologise in advance if I have posted in the wrong place.
I had a smear test that came back with high grade cell changes. I had LLETZ procedure on 10th July and have been waiting for the results. I received a phone call saying that I have an appointment with consultant on Tuesday so I am automatically fearing the worst.
The receptionist on the phone wouldn't discuss anything further with me. I overheard them talking a member of staff that it is an urgent appointment. In the end I rang back quite upset and spoke to a nurse specialist. They wasn't able to give me any result but said that when referred to a consultant they have found cancerous cells but due to not having access to results she is unable to discuss further.
My emotions are all over the place and Tuesday feels like it is forever away. I don't know if I am over reacting and thinking the worst.
