Abnormal cells - long history of gynae problems with no answers

Hi everyone, I’m sorry for posting I know I’m probably being irrational but I thought I would see if anyone has a Similar experience.

I have had years worth of gynae trouble, with the answer from the consultant being, it might be endometriosis! Not even a proper diagnosis. when I say gynae problems, I mean pelvic pain, really painful sex, lack of interest in sex  really heavy periods where I am constantly anaemic - which in turn makes me really fatigued.

i accepted it ’could’ be endometriosis. I have recently had a smear come back with abnomal cells and hpv. Now I’m worrying myself (irrational I know) that all my symptoms could be linked to the abnormal cells. I’m waiting for my colposcopy appointment.

do you think it could be linked? Does anyone have a similar experience?

my ’endometriosis’ Started after my first child around 7 years ago! I’ve had 2 smears previously that have been fine. Surely if it was sinister it would go on for so long?

thankyou, x
