Tomorrow i am 5 weeks post treatment i stlll have pain down below it is not as bad as it used to be but it still there n i do still have a bit of blood in my urine is this normal xxx
I am 4 weeks post treatment and I have been having grown pain and urinary tract infection symptoms (smelly urine,mostly.)
I did a dip stick of my urine and found mild evidence of an infection. I spoke to my team st the hospital and they said I am prone to urine infections because of the radiotherapy. They advised me to sit and monitor the situation and speak to my GP if it got worse.
Do I recall correctly that you had to have some sort of urinary/kidney stent? Either way, I hope you have contacted your GP. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water, too x
