I had the dreaded letter from the screenings service last week to say that I had abnormal cells and HPV infection And needed a colposcopy. How long do you think it’ll take to get that appointment? I am completely distracted by the worry and wait
It was just a few days for me and I was in having an op the following week.
The worrying is the worst thing. It's a year since I got that letter now and have just been given the all clear in a follow up smear.
Hope it all turns out well for you.
I had a letter in the next days post and the colposcopy was 5 days after that - now in the waiting game for those results.
