Normal cervix but biopsies

Hey everyone,

Had a colposcopy and hysteroscopy done today. The consultant said everything looked normal so I am very reassured after my symptoms but she took some biopsies because she said she knew I was anxious. Has anyone been told during the procedure that everything looked fine only for the biopsies to come back with abnormalities?

Also got period type pains, is this normal after hysteroscopy? I had the Mirena fitted too.

Hi Natalie I am sure you have read on here that everyone is different but the one thing everyone will tell you that this time of waiting for results etc is the worst. But if your consultant is confident I think you can be too. It is normal to have cramp like pains particularly after the hysteroscopy and the mirena fitting. Take care x
