I am new to the forum, but I have been reading it to try and understand what is happening to me.
I’m 34yrs old and I have PCOS and I am obese, partly due to the PCOS and partly because I love food!
I went to my doctors about a month ago as I have been having constant spotting since August which is unusual for me as I hardly ever have periods due to the PCOS I’m lucky if I get 3 a year, so this bleeding was worrying me.
When I saw my GP she did a internal inspection and said that she could see that there was some unusual discoloration and changes in my cervix and she would send me for an urgent Gynae appointment.
So I went for a Colposcopy and the results came back about 2 weeks ago and I was told “the overall outcome of the test was reassuring however they could not rule out all abnormalities due to the small amount of sample they received,” could someone please tell me if this is normal?
Anyway so last week I went and had a Hysterosocy and endometrial biopsy and I have been feeling sick and I have been having heartburn/acid reflux which I never suffer from as well as bright red heavy bleeding has anyone else has these side affects?
Does anyone know how quickly these results will come in? I am still waiting for my smear test results and an appointment for an pelvic ultrasound.
