So here goes I’m 45yrs and presumed I was peri menopausal.
18 months ago I had bleeding after sex which was investigated, normal internal exam, smear normal and abdominal uss which was normal. Forgot about it as it only happened a few times and stopped.
Roll on 18 months and missed a few periods, just a bit of brown discharge. Then in Aug really heavy bleeding changing tampons every hour, presumed peri but contacted GP.
Given meds to stop bleeding which worked and then internal exam today.
She stated that my cervix was blue/purple and mottled?? Being sent for colposcopy next week.
Can’t find out any info what findings on my cervix potentially mean, could this just be normal??
