I had 1a1 cervical cancer and have just undergone total robotic hysterectomy. I have major health anxiety now about hpv. I will still need tests - colposcopy & smears so I get that but I have fear of hpv infections in other areas of my body eg throat / anus and causing cell changes
I’ve spoken to medics who don’t seem at all worried but I have recurrent sore throats and have already had a tonsillectomy and have problems with haemorrhoids and fissure. Middle of the night post op anxiety here!
