Biopsy bleeding

Hi,I had a biopsy with my colposcopy for borderline endocervical cells 5 days ago.I had no bleeding yesterday and slight bleeding before that.However last night I had very heavy bleeding with lots of large clots for about 13 hours.It’s currently stopped but meanwhile I dialled 111 who rung me back.The dr however isn’t convinced it was linked to the biopsy and implied I might be miscarrying (I track my ovulation and had sex over a week before it so unlikely).Anyone else experienced bleeding like this following a biopsy?thanks
