Hi I’m new to this site and was wondering if someone might be able to help. About 6 years ago I had like a 50p size of my cervix removed because of abnormal cells, I was recently very ill and went to a&e because I couldn’t wee. When the nurse examined me she asked if I’d had problems with my cervix before because it was very red and inflamed. Two days later my doctor rang and said she had a referral for me to go to the gyne dept then read out that the nurse saw a lump/patch on my cervix and that I need to be seen urgently within 2 weeks, I now have a letter explaining I’m on the pathway of care and have an appointment on Tuesday. i honestly don’t know what to think and trying not to worry but I’m concerned the nurse could see with the naked eye?
