Hello,
I have had abnormal smear results, subsequent biopsy (indicating cell changes) and letter advising I had ‘abnormal’ cell changes however not stating which grade these were.
Today I have been for Lettz procedure, where I was advised my results were ‘unclear’, but likely grade 3 with some grade 2 which is why the Lettz was completed to remove the area under local anaesthetic.
The consultant said I should hear about my results in 4 weeks. I feel a little in the dark as to next steps, is there still a possibility these cells could be cancerous? I just feel quite confused - hence the late night post!
Any advice in this situation would be helpful
