Are the boarderline changes the HPV, or does the HPV cause changes?
I’m confused can you have HPV and no abnormal cells.
I think what I’m asking is, is the HPV the abnormal cells or are they two different things?

I believe you can have HPV without abnormal cells, a vast majority of adults will have HPV at some point in their lives.
Borderline changes, I think mean the cells have perhaps started to become abnormal but this would be at a very early stage as it is borderline.

Its all confusing i have hpv and low grade dyskaryosis i go for my colscopy nxt friday..i have no idea what to expect.
