Needing some advice please !
I am due to have my Hysterectomy Op this coming Monday and was called in to see consultant today to give me another option and now im left with a decision to make.
I have 1b1 with 2 different cancer cell types.
When I saw consultant last week he was all for me having the radical inc ovaries and the lymph nodes , after a MDt meeting a few days ago they think they can cut a smaller section away and not go down into upper vagina as the shape of the cancer is shallow and long as apposed to round and deep !
I dont know what to decide I need to call him tomorrow with my decision.
Recovery time is better and less chance of long term issues and op will be quicker too but if margins are unclear then I will need to have another operation to take the rest away.
Decisions ?
Please if anyone can shed some light or their opion that would be wonderful.
