Bleeding after Colposcopy but no biopsy

Hi all

I'm getting a little confused as I had a colposcopy on monday, and since yesterday I have had some bleeding. Now as far as I'm aware I didnt have a biopsy. I thought bleeding would only be experienced with a biopsy.

Abnormal cells were found but I was just told to have another smear in 12 months time. No other information.

Is the bleeding normal?

Hi, 

I had a colonoscopy on 13/2/20 and experienced light bleeding following that and then brown discharge. However, today 15/2/20 I am experiencing bleeding again!  How long did your bleeding last? My period is due in about 6 days so I don't know whether it's come early after the procedure.
