Would you like to help others?

Hi Everyone

We’re currently looking to recruit for some rather specific volunteer roles for our support services. Both of these roles are vital in helping us to reach and support women affected by cervical cancer and/or cervical abnormalities. Is it something that you could help us with?

We’re looking for daytime helpline volunteers
Our helpline gets busy between 10am - 1pm and we’re looking for volunteers to help us cover these shifts. We ask that volunteers have access to a private land line and are able to commit to a 3 hour shift every 2 weeks. This is a great way to provide reliable information and support to women and their loved ones affected by cervical cancer and cervical abnormalities. We’re also looking for co-leaders for some of our local support groups
If you would like to help provide support and information to women locally who are living with or beyond a cervical cancer diagnosis and live in any of the following areas, we’d like to hear from you;

Ayrshire
Glasgow
Hull
Peterborough
Southampton
Brighton
Leeds
Cardiff

We have groups already in these areas but they are running with just one support group leader. It’s always much more fun to have a co-leader and is also a great way to share the work.
To find out more please visit http://www.jostrust.org.uk/get-involved/volunteer/support-group-volunteers.

All of our volunteers are fully trained and receive ongoing support and supervision.

If you feel you have a few hours a month that you could spend on supporting women, we’d love to hear from you.

Best wishes
Rebecca
