What happens from here?

My pap results came back CIN2 and positive for HPV.
Two years ago the results came back CIN1 no HPV.
I am scheduled for a colposcopy this Friday.
What happens from here?

What at happens next will depend on your colposcopy and what the doctor sees.

If it confirms CIN2 they way choose to remove the cells there and then. Or they may take a small biopsy to check the level and verify CIN2

i don't think there is really much they can do for HPV. A lot of the time bodies clear it up on their own but they may reschedule another follow up smear a time later.

Good luck!

Thank you!
