Hi,

Just got in from our walk, a little drunk but well happy. Debi was amazing as always and had got so many people involved. (love you)

We have raised about £1300 today from the Roundhay Walk, (need to count it properly and wait for sponsor money to come in - thanks to HSBC for matching the £500 sponsor money raised by one person). Thats not counting the money donated already on line…

Big thanks to all those that came today in the pouring rain (looked a right bonny beast on channel 4 - who turned up to film us). cheers Liz and Cheryl.

Hope the rest of you are all still out partying, or giving the big zzzzzz in bed.

Elaine.xxxx Best go and have some water and headache tablets now,I can feel a hangover coming on,.

Well done girls; you are all stars!

At the moment the total is over £7000!! but we have only had money or pledges from a few of the walks so far.

We will keep you all updated when we think we have the final total.

When we were walking from Jo’s Trust headquarters to the pub in Everdon a midwife driving in her car stopped when she saw our balloons and asked about our walk. We told her we were walking for Jo’s Trust and raising awareness of pre-cancer and cervical cancer. We asked her if she had heard of Jo’s Trust and she hadn’t but she said “Well done!” So we have informed another health care professional who will hopefully tell others, which is what it’s all about.

A huge thank you to everyone who either organised a walk, donated, sponsored, gave out leaflets or put up posters. It would not have been possible without you!

BIG THANKS

Sue
