I have now returned from having my first colposcophy, the consultant and nurses were so lovely right from the start, the procedure itself wasn't as bad as I was expecting but after having 3 children i guess im used to being poked and prodded!
I had an initial consultation and was told I had high grade cin cells even though it says the smear result was glandular neoplasia.
I had a superficial and deep lletz procedure done and had two specimens obtained I guess to be sent away, would anyone know if he had seen anything nasty would they say there and then? The diagnosis of the colposcophy was high grade
