Hi everyone,
My mum had abnormal cells diagnosed in January (CIN3). She has received a treatment and then had another smear test done after six months. Unfortunately it has shown some abnormal changes again and she had another treatment done. Today we have received a letter saying that the lastes test has shown very mild abnormality that does not require treatment at present. However, it says that follow-up appointment is required. It’s been booked for 19th of December and it doesn’t even say what is it for or what they are going to do. I was wondering why such soon next appointment as normally they require to come in after 6 months. Is there something to worry about? Any related experiences?
