The Vaccine Knowledge Project (part of the Oxford Vaccine Group at the University of Oxford) is a website-based project that aims to provide reliable and up-to-date information for people (especially parents) about vaccination and infectious disease. They are looking for people who would be prepared to take part in a short film about the benefits of the HPV vaccine (e.g. someone who has survived cervical cancer who is supporting a teenage daughter or other relative to have the HPV vaccine). The details are:
- Filming would take place over a single day (date and venue to suit the participants) and would involve face-to-face interviews, requiring participants to talk about their experiences and feelings.
- The resulting film would be around 5 minutes in length and would be posted on the Vaccine Knowledge website and on YouTube.
- The film-makers would be prepared to travel to anyone based in London, the South East and the Midlands (i.e. anywhere within a 3-4 hour journey of Oxford).
