This year’s Fertility Show, its sixth, takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November 2014 at London’s Olympia Exhibition Centre and is once again staged in association with Infertility Network UK.
An event exclusively aimed at people coping and dealing with infertility, last year it attracted over 3,500 visitors and this year has nearly 100 exhibitors and close to 60 seminars.
The speakers are a very important reason for most people’s visit as many of the UK’s leading fertility specialists take part. Topics include many of the issues that face people struggling to conceive, from the basics to tackling particular problems and scenarios.
There are talks on testing, choosing a clinic, treatment on the NHS, issues for men, treatment for older women, complementary therapies, coping and support strategies as well as specific seminars for those with PCOS, endometriosis and recurrent miscarriage.
For those who have already undergone fertility treatment without success, there are talks on donor treatment and treatment abroad as well as talks to help get behind recent newspaper headlines and establish whether recent innovations in IVF really can make a difference.
There are also talks on surrogacy, adoption and fostering and advice for same sex couples.
Nearly 100 exhibitors include fertility clinics from the UK, Europe, the USA and further afield, help and advice groups, acupuncture, nutrition, organisations that can help with donors, counselling and support.
