Terrified about smear test results ...

Hello,
I went for a routine smear a couple of weeks ago (the last one was 3 years ago - it was all clear) as I am trying to have a 2nd baby (my son is 19 months) and I also had an ectopic pregnancy in October 2022 which ended in emergency surgery and the removal of one tube. I’ve been called back for a 2nd smear and a biopsy because my test showed I have HPV and specifically HPV 33 and 58 were detected.

The conclusion was this:
Satisfactory smear for evaluation: presence of cells from the area of
junction. (Bethesda 2014 and ANAES recommendations).
ATYPICAL SMALPIGHIAN CELLS CANNOT EXCLUDE A SMALPIGHIAN LESION
HIGH-GRADE INTRA-EPITHELIAL (ASC-H).
ATYPICAL ENDOCERVICAL GLANDULAR CELLS

It’s going to be a few weeks before my biopsy and I’m confused by the smear and absolutely terrified. With this conclusion, do you think the risk of cancer is high ? I want to be able to prepare myself for the worst…! All I was doing was going the give my body an MOT before a potential 2nd pregnancy and now I’m waiting to find out if there’s a much bigger issue !

Many thanks in advance
Lucy
