what is cervical glandular neoplasia?
Hi
Its abnormalities of the glandular tissue of the cervix, often referred to a CGIN. There are 2 types low or high grade CGIN, you wouldn’t know for definite what type without a biopsy. Essentially it’s pre cancerous cells of the glandular tissue.

Hi, new to this, so not sure if posting right. Had a smear test on Tuesday and told I have cysts on my cervix, I feel confused as I’m unsure if I need to get them checked by doctor or do I leave them? Any advice or anyone had this? X
Hi
I think I would want them check out by someone at colposcopy. It may be that your smear comes back abnormal as a result of the cysts and then you’ll possibly go to colposcopy. I’d probably get an appointment with the GP and go from there.
