Hi there. I had my second LLETZ in three months just over four weeks ago and apart from contracting a small infection 2 weeks after the second procedure, all has gone well. EXCEPT…I seem to have developed a sensitive bladder. I’m not incontinent but I do seem to need to pee a lot and need to go as soon as the urge registers with my brain. Sometimes I’m positively dancing next to the loo trying to stop the flow before I have pulled my pants down! Is this a common side effect of the LLETZ procedure?
I’ve just experienced what I presume was a water infection. I never got the results of the swab but was prescribed antibiotics.
There was an urge to wee and also pain.
Could it be that do you think ?
I would check it out as I know all this area is very close in women.
