Hi Girls,

I had my results in and it didnt specify whether it was CIN 1, 2 etc! is that normal or do they normally tell you the grade
?

other than that I thankfully got the all clear and need to go for my smear again in 6 months :)

Hi Pam,

what did it say in the letter? If you had a smear test, this will usually not say anything about CIN, only about your changes..ie abnormal or mild/ etc dyscaryosis. CIN is usually graded/diagnosed during  colposcopy when you have biopsies taken.

It was a colposcopy and biopsy that was taken!

it just said CIN(abnormal cells) and didnt specify a grade?
