Hi all just got my results back from my consultant it's says u have CIN1 but they have found a high grade level of CGIN 9 on the letter it goes on to tell me about my results and it says they have removed the cells but km not totally sure if they mean they have removed it all or just the cin1 cells. It also says the consultant will be having a meeting with the pathologist, I no CGIN is found higher up in the cervix. Can they tell they have removed all of the CGIN im worried as they are high level will they want to do another test to make sure they are all gone. I'm so confused as what's going to happen xxxxx
I was told I had high grade severe/cancer cells on my smear result but when I went to have my colposcopy and lletz done at the same time the consultant didn't mention the gcin cells at all, I'm still waiting for my results and it's been 3 weeks since, I'm wondering if they mean they have removed the cin cells, the ones that are visible at the time of colposcopy, I know that for most cases of gcin cells they have to go to a mdt meeting to discuss them as I'm wondering if they are doing the same with mine, sometimes they will do a cone biopsy for these cells being higher up in the cervix under ga xx
