Hi everyone,
I had a smear test about 2 months ago that showed borderline changes and high risk HPV positive. I went for a colposcopy 4 weeks ago and the consultant said she could see some changes and took a biopsy. She said she thought it was CIN 1. They had this colour map machine showing changes and I could see some areas were blue (minor changes according to Dr Google). I got the results of the biopsy today and it shows no CIN at all and I received an appointment for a smear test in one year from now.
I am confused about the results as she said there were minor changes and I saw them as well. Could the biopsy have been taken from a healthy area and that is why it came back as clear? I am confused.
