Recurrence to ovary help

Hi

I am new on here and was diagnosed with a recurrence of cervical cancer in my ovary in Jan 2019.

I finished my initial treatment for CC in Nov 2017 and all was positive so to be told I had a recurrence was a total shock.

I had debulking surgery to remove the ovary, appendix and omentum and drain 4 litres of fluid and was told it had not spread.

I am having 6 cycles of Carboplatin, paclotaxol & avastin.

I had a scan a month after my op and before chemo & they found 3 very tiny spots in my lungs.  I was terrified.  I had a scan after 3 cycles and the spots were gone and the Dr said they could not say what they were.  I did have a pulmonary embolism and fluid round my lungs before my op.

I just want to know if there are any positive stories out there, I feel so scared but trying to be positive.

I look forward to hearing from any lovely ladies.

Thank you xx

Hi Suzstar,

I can't help you myself but I would recommend you apply to join the advanced section where there are loads of ladies who have this chemo mix and there are positive stories in there as well as loads of support.
