Recalled to coloposcopy

Hello,

went to colposcopy last year and had biopsy. returned as borderline. Had my smear a fortnight ago and came back abnormal. Have been called back to colposcopy. Is this normal? Terrified it will come back worse. And trying for a baby to make it worse!

I think that's quite normal. Any abnormal smear even if mild will need colposcopy. Did they mention the CIN level?
