So I had a cone biopsy and fibroid removal done under general nearly two weeks ago. Pain wise that’s now settled, but I’m still bleeding. Like a really heavy period, frank red blood. Any body else had this. Thinking about calling the colposcopy clinic to speak to somebody
Please do call the clinic. They will want you to if you’re at all concerned. I would think it’s likely to be related to the fibroid, but please call them straight away. You’ve already waited two weeks - time for reassurance or some help. X
I had a cone biopsy nearly 3 weeks ago, but didn’t have fibroid removal that I’m aware of.
I haven’t had much bleeding since it. I would recommend calling to be on the safe side, as I’m sure if there was the potential for heavy bleeding for that amount of time they would advise you of this.
