Please excuse me I don't know if I'm posting in the right forum. I very concerned and confused. I'm 33 years old and my pathology report came with some parts as positive. Can you please help me to understand it:
- DIAGNOSIS:
VULVA:
- MILD DYSPLASTIC CHANGES (VIN-I), ARISING IN A CONDYLOMATOUS LESION
- Note: Immunohistochemical studies for HPV(COCKTAIL), P—l6, P-53 and KI-67 (TI7-87266) were done and found:
- HPV(COCKTAIL)— NEGATIVE
P-l6 - NEGATIVE
P-53 - FOCALLY POSITIVE
KI-67 - FOCALLY POSITIVE
Above findings are compatible with mild dysplastic changes

These immunohistochemical stains are deemed medically necessary. Concurrent evaluation by IHC on tissue sections is indicated in this case in order to correlate immunophenotype with cell morphology and determine extent of involvement, spatial pattern, and focality of potential disease distribution.
Do I have HPV yes or no? Am I in high risk for cancer? My doctor recommends to make an appopintment with a gynoncologist, What should I ask? Please help.
