Period question! It has been just over a year since my first LLETZ and about 10 months since my second LLETZ. Since I had them I haven’t had a normal period. I used to have 6/7 days of heavy red bleeding but now I have about 2/3 days of light brown/black discharge. Any ideas?? My consultant doesn’t seem concerned. I’m seeing her every 6 months for colposcopies and smears X

I hadn't really thought much of it, but mine had started to change before my first LLETZ but they are definitely different now, much darker to start and a different thinner consistency. In my head I have put it down to how my poor cervix has healed up and is maybe changed my normal flow. If it is bothering you a lot, you could ask to have it investigated at your next review
