Pcos, and now adenocarcinoma in situ of uterine cervix

I'm new, and scared. Been trying to have a family for many years, finally diagnosed with pcos  and pre-diabetes in may.  Now last week I had a colposcopy done to find out I have AIS to be sent to a cancer specialist. I have no idea what to expect, or if anyone has been in my situation. If things were easy to conceive after this, what type of surgery they had, pain? Recovery time? I'm 30 years old no children. Just very overwhelmed we just did our first letrozole treatment last cycle and had to stop trying now.

The dr wants to do the cold knife cone and remove an inch of my cervix.

Sorry to hear you're going through this. Have you tried ringing the helpline? I have found it helpful just to talk through things. X
