Hi, I’ve just had a smear test done, was overdue- my fault and gp fault as they hadn’t read previous notes and didn’t follow up my last inconclusive result. I explained I have been having a lot of watery discharge, odor and some dull pelvic pain. Nurse said my cervix didn’t look too bad - what the hell that means I don’t know. Then said I should ask GP for swabs and get implant removed. Said that can do this while waiting two weeks for smear results as then if I needed a referral all the stuff they want would already have been done (swabs etc). Now I’m just panicking and its going to be a very long two weeks!!
