MIsdiagnosed - Get opionions

Recently diagnosed with cervical cancer

I just thought I would reach out to everyone that has been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. Please reach out for a second, third, fourth opinion.

I just went through hell for four months and was told I had Adenocarcinoma of the cervix but negative HPV which made my case wierd. I was told I also had uterine cancer.

Well my best option was to have a full hysterectomy. After my hysterectomy everything was completely benign. I do not have any cancer and as I pushed for answers my cells had so much inflammation from a hystersalpingogram that they told me I had adenocarcinoma.

Now my option for more children is gone.t

I am so sorry to hear this.Have you kept your ovaries? Could you still use a surrogate?

I am gobsmacked! I was treated in a regional hospital in Greece and underwent about twenty separate tests in nine days before having a radical hysterectomy. Where were you diagnosed and what tests did you have? I also had adenocarcinoma of the cervix with no HPV which made my case interesting and exciting.
