I've been a member of this forum for many years now. But I'm having a bit of a freak out. I had a colposcopy earlier this year which was ok, although my butt barely touched the table. It said less than cin 1, which was great. BUT, I've had bleeding after sex the last two times and I'm worrying. I'm not sure what to do. Should I go to my gp, wait a bit, or go to my sexual health clinic (which is the same place as where I have my colposcopy done).
Bleeding is not at all normal for me. :(
Go to the GP. Bleeding isn't right but can be caused by so many things. Ring tomorrow otherwise you'll be fretting until you do.
Thanks 365 days. I've made an appointment with sexual health, I feel much better talking to them than the gp - not sure why! But I'm hoping they can advise. Xxx
Well sexual health doctor said all looked fine. Said I had a small blood vessel on cervix but didn't look "bleedy"... had a good look at my vag as well. Obviously not a colposcopy but quite reassuring. Think I will leave it for now, but if I bleed again I'll go straight to GP.
