I've received my lletz results - my smear showed CGIN and following a colposcopy I received a lletz under GA. My lletz results have not shown any pre cancerous changes. They have shown that my cervix is chronically inflammed and I have high risk HPV. The nurse explained that my cervix is inverted meaning I have glandular cells on the outside of it which along with the inflammation explains the smear result of CGIN. I'm due to attend a colposcopy and have a smear in 6 months.
