Hi ladies, just had my colposcopy. She said the area is quite large so want to put me under general anaesthetic. Apparently it doesn't look bad but the area is big. Her words were whatever the outcome its treatable. So I have mixed emotions. I feel relieved but worried about being put to sleep! Anyone had the same as this? Xxx

I had mine under GA almost two weeks ago for the same reason

its not so bad you're asleep so don't have to face the treatment and

recovery wasn't too bad after I was home within two hours of coming around

just felt slightly dazed xx

Hi tbh having it under ga is much better I was in at 7:30 and home by 12:30 x
