I had an abnormal Pap (mild dysphasia) and positive HPV last month after years of normal results. I had a colpscopy with biopsy at the end of last month that came back with high grade squamous intraepithelial lesion encompassing moderate squamous dysplasia with koiliocytosis (So CIN2, I guess?). I just had a LEEP done on Wednesday and they told me I should get the results within a week or two.
Is is it common to have a discrepancy between the colposcopy results and the LEEP, or is it generally accurate? Just wondering if there is still a possibility that it was worse than the colposcopy biopsy showed, since the colposcopy results were worse than the Pap showed.
