I have just finalised the details for this year’s Let’s Meet event and wanted to update you:
- Let’s Meet 2013 is our annual one day information event designed for women who have been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
- This year the event will be in Newcastle at The Thistle County Hotel on the 21st September.
- It is free to attend.
- The key note speech will be given by Dr Karen Roberts, Macmillan Reader / Nurse Consultant, School of Health Community and Education Studies, NorthumbriaUniversity. Karen will be speaking about moving on after a diagnosis of cervical cancer.
- The day includes a series of focussed workshops for women and their partners who have been affected by cervical cancer. These workshops will allow you to manage any long term side effects that you may be experiencing. We will be running a special workshop for partners only. The day also includes time for attendees to mingle and meet others affected.
