I’ve had abnormal smears and tested positively for HPV for the last 7 years (I’ve been on 6 month/1 yearly smears, with numerous colposcopy appt)
I’ve thankfully to date never needed any treatment.
What I’m wondering is 1. Why I am still testing positive for HPV after all this time and 2. Can they test me to see what type of HPV I have? Even if I pay privately?
