HPV positive

Hi.

Ive just receivEd a letter saying I need a colposcopy due to abnormal cells and positive HPV.

im usually ok with stuff like this as I had this in my 20s and it all went to normal.

im now 35, had 3 children and since my last child 4 years ago I’ve had qynae Issues. Difficulty with sex. Painful when we manage. Stabbing pains in my cervix area. Feeling bloated and uncomfortable.

I lost my dad to lung cancer a year ago and my Nan 2 years ago to pancreatic cancer and my grandad had prostrate cancer and is now clear so I’m actually bricking myself this Time

im also concerned how I’ve caught HPV???

ive been feeling so unwell since my dad got his cancer diagnosis/my nan died. So last 2 years. But put it down to depression which I’m on meds for.

Funilly enough I came of them few months back and went to see my dr about going back on them as I didn’t feel right. My dr didn’t say she had my smear results otherwise I could of talked to her about them instead of balling my eyes out about my life being effed up!

any kind words are much appreciated now.
