How long did your results take?

Hi girls. 

Just wondering how long everyones smear results have been taking? 

I had mine done nearly 4 and a half weeks ago. I was told 2-4 weeks. I am finding myself stalking the letterbox again! Flashbacks! 

Hope all of you girls are ok :)

I’ve been waiting nearly 7 weeks. It’s got to the point where it’s holding up a house purchase as the life Insurance company won’t make a decision witheir the results.

Hiya, it depends on the area you live in but the NHS do state that they try and get your results back to you within 14 days. I would contact your GP and ask if it seems like it's taking a really long time . Hope you hear something soon

I received them today, exactly a 7 week wait.

Thankfully all is normal this time.

I dont know if it’s been rolled out nationwide but my area has switched to cytology and HPV testing at the same time and theyre struggling to keep up.
