High risk HPV borderline squamous cell change 2nd year

After having colposcopy and biopsy last year for borderline squamous cell change high risk HPV this year’s smear results are the same. Panicking a bit. Does this mean higher risk now

Hi @Becs7

Having 2 in a row doesnt put you at a higher risk, borderline is the smallest changes you can have and arnt necassarily caused by HPV despite a HPV positive as cells change on the cervix regularly even at this stage you would still just be monitored rather than treated x
