Hi Michelle! Glad you finally got your results, its easier to deal with once you know exactly whats what I found! I hope theres not much more waiting around now.

I went in to get my treatment plan yesterday, just have to have a few scans over the next few weeks so they can do the planning for my radiotherapy, should be about a 3 week wait for the treatment itself but thats ok it will soon come around. Im up and down these past few days sometimes im really sad i will never have children and othertimes im coping fine, I guess everyone going through this is the same!

Hi Pinkglitter

Just sending you a big hug. That is all.

aw thankyou suzysooz! big hugs back xxx

Hi Pinkglitter,

Sorry to hear that. Just take everyday as it comes. I was expecting 1a1 and just needing LLETZ so it was a bit of a shock but just want to have it done now.

Best of luck with your treatment

Michelle

Hi pink glitter sorry to hear about your diagnosis, I was diagnosed in May last yr just before I turned 28 I was also a 1b2 so I had the same treatment as you if you ever need a chat or if I can help you with any questions please feel free to Get in touch! Take care Hunni xx

Hi everyone been reading the posts on here and decided to post I have just had the results of my MRI scan and after mdt meeting the dr phoned me telling me the treatment was not a op but chemo and radiation due to stage two b  cc just wondering if anyone else on here has the same thank you

Hi ladies, sending you my thoughts and prays as you begin your treatment plans. I am out through the other side and can safely say there is light at the end of the tunnel. It is hard recovering from the operation just take it slowly. I didn't need chemo but had radiotherapy and its doable, I'm suffering from bowel problems but I count my blessings everyday that I'm still here. Best wishes lea xxx

Hi, I'm 32 from New Zealand and newly diagnosed too...just had my MRI on Friday - turns out I'm quite claustrophobic! I'm playing the awful waiting game now to find out how bad it is. I have an appointment with some specialists on the 4th but for now I am totally in the dark and imagining the full spectrum of possibilities. Anyway, I just wanted to say that reading all the account above has helped me feel not so alone :-)

Hi again Sparkle,

So you find MRIs a little claustrophobic too do you? Me too! All I can say is don't visit the big pyramid at Giza on a crowded day, it's worse!

I hope that your summer weather is allowing you to do interesting things to take your mind off the wait you have for staging. We're all here for you.

Be lucky
