Have your say in Cervical Cancer Research in Greater Manchester on Thursday 21st June 6 - 8pm

Hi all,

If you are based in Manchester/ can easily to there, there is an opportunity for people who have/had cervical cancer (including carers and relatives) to help shape a research study using a new technology to improve treatment and hopefully reduce side effects.

Manchester have a new machine called the MR-Linac, which will start treating patients in early 2019 and may improve how cervical cancer is treated.

Dr. Anthea Cree has a research question and she would like to hear views on her project from those that have experience of cervical cancer (including carers and relatives).

They will be holding a focus group on Thursday 21st June  6 – 8pm in Manchester City Centre. There will be refreshments available and you will be paid for £40 for your time plus travel expenses within Greater Manchester.

Booking is required. If you want more information, or are interested please ring Olivia Joseph (0161 276 6614), or email her (olivia.joseph@mft.nhs.uk).

Many thanks,
