Hello I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light.
I could feel my cervix wasn't normal was rather lumpy but i put this down to just giving birth and the trauma to that. Finally plucked up the courage to speak to my doctor about it as this 'lump' wasn't going away.
As I was due to be 25 they said go for your smear which I did. My results come back as HPV positive and glandular cell abnormalities.
So went for a colposcopy yesterday and the specialist said yep it's glandular cells so removed using the LLETZ treatment. After reading up a little bit but not greatly understanding. Is glandular cell changes CGIN? From what I've gathered from reading up CGIN is almost always accompanied by CIN. Is there low grade CGIN is this more serious? Sorry for all the questions I asked a few at the colposcopy appointment but didn't really get the answers I was looking for. Plus afterwards I was a bit shaky and forgot most of what I was going to ask.
Thanks in advance
