Hi, this might be a silly question but I have been trying to find info online and cant find anything. I am due a LLETZ in a week and I have got my period. Will I still be ok to go if the period stops the day before? And also, I accidently picked up scented pantyliners from the shop and im concerned it may give me thrush, if I have thrush will affect the results form the LLETZ? xxx

There's no such thing as a silly question, please don't worry. If you're not sure whether your period will have finished you might want to ring the hospital and see what they think?
If you do get thrush it wouldn't affect the results of the LLETZ sample. It's the cell changes the pathologist will be looking at, and in particular to check that the margins of what they remove are clear. Although if you do get thrush you possibly won't be able to use any internal treatments for a while, as they recommend not putting anything inside after LLETZ to allow the cervix to heal.
