Just wondering if anyone with high risk HPV has cleared it?

There are lots and lots of posts on this forum reporting Test of cure (cervical screening after 3/6/12 months) came back clear of HPV and abnormal cell changes. At which point they have gone back to three yearly screening.

I had HPV 16 and mine cleared after cone . And that was in 2018 and ive been negative since .
I had high risk HPV for 3 years when I was living in the US. At which point, my doctor and I decided to proceed with the procedure after one last smear test. Luckily, that final smear test came back negative for HPV and cell changes. I was clear for 3 years.
Just found out I have HPV and cell changes again. Waiting on colposcopy biopsy results now.
But to answer your question - yes my first time, it did eventually go away after a few years.
