hi ladies
im just wondering how you ladies get on with the whole dilating thing, trying to remember to do it every day, unless me and hubby get it on, although can only manage two positions with hubby at moment, but try to dilate every day, but have read twice a day at five minutes a time! I certainly am not doing it for that long! Oops!
Any my stories ladies?
Xx
Oh those lovely dilators!! After my treatment ended I did use them a few times a week as I was keen to end=sure that the internal examinations would be comfortable as much as anything. I really found it difficult to maintain though as trying to find peace and quiet in my house full of boys is tricky. As time has gone I suppose I've used them less and less but I find intercouse is still doable with lots of lubrication etc. I also manage with my checkups ok. Lots of ladys find a vibrator much more comfortable and less clinical...might be something you want to try? xx

Hi Tracy,
I haven't encountered any problems yet with the dilators.
I was a bit apprehensive at first about using them, how uncomfortable I was going to feel etc, but so far so good!.
It was good to know, that I could tolerate them before resuming normal intercourse with him indoors. Which hasn't been too uncomfortable for me, although I think he was scared he was going to hurt me !
I'm not due back at the clinic for my check up till 19th Oct so I won't know how the internal examination side of things will go.
I was told to use the dilators 3 x per week and for approx 10 mins, it's funny how we all get different instructions !!!
